aerorganic:

[aer-oh-awr-gan-ik]

adjective: of or relating to aircraft or aeronautics with characteristic of, pertaining to, or derived from living organisms

'I believe sculptors absorb the world around them, translating the information into three dimensional form that conveys the substance and meaning of their experience.

I want these sculptures to look as if they could have grown from the earth, or were made by some cargo cult tribe as homage to the gods of the skies; are they totems of a half remembered age of aerorganic creatures, or the rediscovered symbols of an otherworldly species?

I hope that the work evokes an existence in the balance between a hazy, half remembered past and a not yet focused vision of a possible future…'
